Our Treatments

Therapeutic Massage: A combination of deep tissue and Swedish massage. This treatment is designed to promote relaxation, improve circulation and wellness. While working on the deeper muscle layers, the deep tissue work will assist with postural problems, trigger points (knots) and release of muscular pain. Sometimes assisted stretches might be used during a session.

Thai Yoga Bodywork: Numerous therapeutic and healing techniques are all combined in the Thai Yoga session. It is an extraordinary and dynamic combination of myofascial stretching, joint mobilization, acupressure, energy balancing, rhythmic deep tissue compression and soft tissue manipulation. A Thai session is fully clothed mat work that combines deep tissue techniques with deep passive stretching in order to create flexibility, improve circulation and alleviate muscular pain and tension. Thai work can greatly assist in postural and structural alignment.

About Our Massage Therapists

Guy McChesney, Licensed Massage Therapist
Guy has practiced massage in both clinical and retreat/resort settings since 1996. He has studied in both the U.S and Thailand and is currently one of the only Multi level certified Thai yoga therapists in the state of Maine. He also graduated with an instructor's rank in the Brazilian art form Capoeira and his massage work is influenced by these studies as well as his love of outdoor adventure and healthy living.

Tatiana McChesney, Licensed Massage Therapist
Tatiana has studied both in Maine and Thailand and is a graduate of Spa Tech in Portland, ME. A native of Brazil with experience in dance and most recently as a mother she brings a unique perspective and experience to the growing field of Massage Therapy. Tatiana has the training and ability to work deeply for clients that prefer that style of work but has also the gentler and medium pressure touch that many others prefer.
